Who Are We To Question YAH?
Are we not wet clay in the hands of the Master Potter?
Firstly I would like to acknowledge Keith Radcliffe for the inspiration for this post. Keith reached out to me after my last post as something I said touched his heart. In our dialogue, Keith imparted the wisdom of Christ. I love it when the body loves and supports the body.
Is that not why we do this?
Thank you Freedom in Christ .
Job 42:1-6 ESV Then Job answered the LORD and said: (2) “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. (3) ‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. (4) ‘Hear, and I will speak; I will question you, and you make it known to me.’ (5) I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you; (6) therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”
Our spiritual battle while in this transient state between the “it is finished” and the “not yet” is between our sinful flesh that will die and our perfected spirits that are now immortal.
We experience life in the now with taste, touch, hearing, smell, and vision; but do we SEE?
In V5 above, Job laments after all that had transpired in what once was a perfect life of blessing. Job had lived his life of blessing knowing YAH, hearing His voice always. But did he know who YAH was?
Observe how YAH responded to Job after he and all of Job’s friends had said their piece in ignorance of the works of the Master Potter:
Job 38:1-5 ESV Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said: (2) “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? (3) Dress for action like a man; I will question you, and you make it known to me. (4) “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. (5) Who determined its measurements—surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it?
So I ask on behalf of YAH:
Who are we to question the circumstances of our lives?
Why do we ask “Did God really say….?”
We ask questions with no knowledge of the majesty of the Master Potter.
When the Father of Light became consumed with pride and sought his own Kingdom, did YAH not have foreknowledge?
When The Woman ate the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, did YAH misprogram her?
When Adam wonders in delight at his union with The Woman and eats as well, did YAH give too much emphasis to his bonded helpmate?
When the Sons of YAH rebelled and were excluded from heaven, did YAH make a mistake?
When the Sons of YAH left The Throne Room to copulate with the daughters of men, did YAH make a mistake?
When Nimrod chose to build a tower to make a name for himself, why did YAH not intervene to prevent calamity?
When the perfect sinless Man was humiliated by torture and nailed to the wooden cross for the world to mock, was there not a plan that even Satan was ignorant of?
Psalms 1:1-6 TLV Happy is the one who has not walked in the advice of the wicked, nor stood in the way of sinners, nor sat in the seat of scoffers. (2) But his delight is in the Torah of Adonai, and on His Torah he meditates day and night. (3) He will be like a planted tree over streams of water, producing its fruit during its season. Its leaf never droops—but in all he does, he succeeds. (4) The wicked are not so. For they are like chaff that the wind blows away. (5) Therefore the wicked will not stand during the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. (6) For Adonai knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.
Our circumstances are NEVER a monitor of our spiritual condition.
We are to do and BE who YAH has determined we are to do and BE at this moment in time.
The fruit of that state of BEING is not ours to ponder.
Let us bask therefore in the truth of Romans 8:1.
Romans 8:1-3 TLV Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Messiah Yeshua. (2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Messiah Yeshua has set you free from the law of sin and death. (3) For what was impossible for the Torah—since it was weakened on account of the flesh—God has done. Sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as a sin offering, He condemned sin in the flesh—
And more…..
Romans 8:28-30 TLV Now we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose. (29) For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. (30) And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified; and those whom He justified, He also glorified.
Look at the chain of events in the above. First He foreknew i.e. He knew the end from the beginning. Genesis 1:1 said, “In the beginning God….”. So YAH pre-existed everything, but He also knows how ALL will end. Isaiah 46:10 TLV “declaring the end from the beginning, from ancient time, what is yet to come, saying, “My purpose will stand, and I will accomplish all that I please.”
The start of the chain is YAH foreknowing YOU! You are reading this BECAUSE He foreknew and predetermined you were to be His child.
Let that sink in for a while……..meditate on this truth!
This blessing is not for everyone.
Did not YAH say “Jacob I loved but Esau I hated?”
Malachi 1:2-3 TLV “I loved you,” says Adonai. But you say: “How have you loved us?” “Was Esau not Jacob’s brother?”—it is the declaration of Adonai—“Yet I loved Jacob (3) and Esau I hated. I made his hills a wasteland and gave his inheritance to jackals of the wilderness.”
YAH ignored the birthright of Esau as the firstborn and determined Jacob, the secondborn, would receive the inheritance of the bloodline of Isaac.
Why did He do this?
Because He can…….
So YOU, as a foreknown and predetermined bloodline to Abraham, and through Abraham the uninfected bloodline to Noah, grafted into that same wild olive tree, are an heir by inheritance of that promise of glory, the last link in the chain yet unfulfilled.
Let us not seek answers to circumstantial false evidence.
Instead, let us all go to our knees in reverent prayer, clothe ourselves in sackcloth and ashes, and seek His glory in our reverent existence.
Let us all live FROM our identity in Messiah Yeshua……
Do and BE who He says we are…….children of the Most High…….an existential light in a dark world of depravity.
Oh Father may it be more infectious than disease X.
Your indwelt spiritual slave to Yeshua (Gal 2:20)

If we ever need to change our circumstance, He can and will let us know! He is so kind to do that.
