The Weaponization of Scripture

The Apostle Paul told us in advance, but do we listen?

Acts 20:28-30 ESV  Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.  (29)  I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;  (30)  and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them.

Paul was prophesying what was to come for his faithful flock, purchased with the blood of Christ and so faithfully proclaimed to them.

Ephesus was the true Apostolic Church, formed within the midst of the Temple of Diana, the home of pagan worship. Here is what Christ has told us about the Apostolic Age of the Church Age with the release of the White Horse:

Revelation 6:2 ESV  And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.

Being apocalyptic literature, it is symbolic. Its rider was Christ within His appointed Apostles during the Apostolic Church, in Ephesus and throughout the seeded assemblies along the Roman roads of Paul and the other Apostles’ journey. The bow represents YAH’s New Covenant, of which the Rainbow post-flood was an archetype. The crown is only ever given to a King in scripture, and the White Horse symbolizes the spiritual power of YAH. The rider can be none other than Christ, and any other misguided interpretation is blasphemy under Christ’s guidance in Matthew 12. If you call good evil, you are on tenuous ground. The battleground the horse enters is a spiritual battleground only Christ can conquer (and he came out conquering and to conquer.) The release of the White Horse is not some future event during a 7-year tribulation period for Israel after whisking away of believers in a “rapture”. Labelling the Antichrist as the rider is blasphemy. The White Horse was released in the first century after the murder of Christ, the administrator of the New Covenant, the Messiah Israel knew was coming but did not suit their apostate religious traditions.

It took the known world by storm, upsetting religion as it went. For the pagans, no longer were there father god, mother god, and son of god (to be re-instituted by the pagan Roman Catholic Church), but God had come in the flesh. For the religious Jews, the law was smashed, and the Temple had been moved internally. The pagans were interested in this new expression of God:

Acts 17:32 ESV  Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked. But others said, “We will hear you again about this.”

The Jews became angry and plotted to murder Him:

Mark 14:1 ESV  It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to arrest him by stealth and kill him,

What Yeshua said to Ephesus just three decades later should be a wake-up call for all of us:

Revelation 2:4 ESV  But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.

The Open Door to Satan

Revelation 2:4-5 ESV  But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.  (5)  Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

Three decades after Paul warned the Ephesian Elders, they opened the door to the wolves. They had become a works-based assembly without the love of Christ. Suppose you work for your local church out of obligation without the sanctifying presence of the indwelling Christ. In that case, it becomes a religious activity that looks like you are sheep but not hearing the voice of the Shepherd.

Satan Strolled In

The spiritual degradation of The Way was encouraged by the assemblies becoming works-based. Repentance was sought by Christ for this fatal spiritual error:

Revelation 2:5 ESV  Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

The release of the following three horses in Revelation 6 culminates in the Pale Horse, the horse of death at the hands of the apostate Roman Catholic Church in the Dark Ages, where it is estimated that 50 million people were slaughtered in the Crusades and Inquisitions.

Revelation 6:3-8 ESV  When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!”  (4)  And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.  (5)  When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand.  (6)  And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”  (7)  When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!”  (8)  And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

The Weaponizing of Scripture Today

The Apostolic Church (the White Horse) spread forth successfully without any New Testament scriptures. The Word of Christ from the indwelt Apostles and their team of faithful servants was more than enough to bring success. The power of two (or more) witnesses of Christ was enough, and Christ did the rest.

Today, the wolves in our Laodicean church are the seminary-trained leaders in a paganized system of liturgical deception, where the Words of Christ are pacified within believers by submission to religious authority, precisely the state of Israel and the purpose of the advent of Christ, in the place of the indwelling Christ. These wolves seek money illegitimately to pay for the unnecessary overheads of professional “leaders” and Institutional places of “worship”. The sufficiency of Christ has been placed behind a new veil, a veil of religious illegitimacy, behind which satanic forces of counterfeit have weaved the deceptive mysteries of the New Testament scriptures.

Paul predicted this to the Ephesian Elders, and then Peter gave us an incredible insight into how the wolves would treat Paul’s writings:

2 Peter 3:15-16 ESV  And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him,  (16)  as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.

An Important Example

2 Corinthians 9:6-11 NKJV  But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.  (7)  So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.  (8)  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.  (9)  As it is written: "HE HAS DISPERSED ABROAD, HE HAS GIVEN TO THE POOR; HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER."  (10)  Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,  (11)  while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.

These passages are often used in the Laodicean prosperity churches to prove that tithes made to your local church will be multiplied by God to give you financial abundance. I have used the NKJV translation above because it capitalizes Old Testament references, which emphasizes the real meaning of these passages. V9 is quoted from Psalm 112:9, and the message is about giving to the poor, not your local church. The mere thought that YAH will accumulate financial wealth for you by giving to the church is a massive fraud perpetrated by all who preach it, and they WILL be held accountable for such lies. Paul is pointing out that if you sow sparingly into the SPIRITUAL Kingdom, you will reap sparingly from it. It has nothing to do with physical matters of finances. The spiritual Kingdom supports the poor, not the physical. YAH will always supply the physical AND spiritual needs of those submitted to Him. Supporting the poor IS faith in action.

Many prosperity preachers leave out V9 when preaching for tithes when quoting these passages. I do not know how these people sleep. Do they have no shame? Are they so enamoured with themselves that they no longer hear the voice of YAH? Like lambs to the slaughter, we follow these charlatans, pouring money into their coffers, making them rich, and keeping the flock spiritually bankrupt.

All will meet their maker, and Christ will say:

Matthew 7:21-23 ESV  “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  (22)  On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’  (23)  And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Your Actions

1. Repent and believe in Christ alone.

2. Listen to the voice of YAH for yourself. He will speak to you primarily through the scriptures but also through other people. Listen carefully to corrections from valid indwelt believers and test everything with the Holy Spirit.

3. Accept no spiritual authority except the authority of Christ indwelling you.

4. You are an Ambassador for Christ, the same as all indwelt believers. You do not have any special knowledge, only that which Christ provides you within your spiritual giftings.

5. Be in awe of YAH and His Glory.

6. Faith is a kinetic ACTION word; exercise it, and it grows.
