Satan in Post-Resurrection Church History
How Satan has shaped the way we do Church
Satan does not make war with those who do not know Yahusha, the Messiah. Those deluded by the attractions of the World and its prideful exuberance are of no concern to Satan. He already has them, he has had them since birth.
The prophecy of YAH in Revelation 12 above informs us of Satan’s target.
His target is YOU!
If you have professed Christ in your life, you are Satan’s enemy, as I am.
He will stop at nothing to destroy your faith in Yahusha.
From the beginning of the post-resurrection “church”, Satan has used the only weapon he has in his armory……
Deception leads to counterfeiting.
Dictionary.com defines Counterfeit as:
made in imitation of something genuine with the intent to deceive or defraud; forged
simulated; sham
As with Eve in the Garden of Eden, Satan uses the mind to confuse believers to take action on anything that is NOT of Christ. If you are taking action on anything where the result is a calculated interpretation of evidence of your thoughts; or the reliance on the wordly wisdom of another person, you are not acting in FAITH.
Faith is kinetic…..
You act not knowing the result, but knowing you are advancing the Kingdom. The result is in YAH’s hands; if selfish ambition precedes action, STOP.
Hebrews 11:1-3 AMP+ Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality--faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. (2) For by this [kind of] faith the men of old gained [divine] approval. (3) By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
Here is the test of faith……
If we believe that the Earth was formed by the Elohim of the Unseen Realm, not by manufactured scientific evidence…..
If we believe that the Word of YAH is the divinely inspired words of wisdom and knowledge of YAH as delivered to His prophets…….
If we believe that Yahusha was the Word of YAH made flesh, that He died and was resurrected, that He ascended to the right hand of the Father, and profess this reality to all we know…….
Then and only then can we say we have the MIND of CHRIST:
Isaiah 40:13-14 LSV Who has meted out the Spirit of YHWH, ? And being His counselor, teaches Him? (14) With whom did He consult, ? That he causes Him to understand? And teaches Him in the path of judgment, ? And teaches Him knowledge? And causes Him to know the way of understanding?
Satan counterfeits YAH and His spiritual authority in any way he can.
Satan starts by deceiving our minds.
Let us walk through the Seven Letters and excavate the activity of the deceiver in The Church Age.
Ephesus
Revelation 2:2-4 NKJV "I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; (3) and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary. (4) Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
What was their first love?
Revelation 1:1-2 LSB The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His slaves the things which must soon happen; and He indicated this by sending it through His angel to His slave John, (2) who bore witness to the word of God and to the witness of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.
The early Ephesian assemblies were the shining light of Paul’s missionary journeys. Situated in the heart of paganism, Paul was located and taught in Ephesus for three years under great duress, but the assembly thrived. Yet just three decades on, Jesus condemns them for forgetting the person for whom they were spiritual slaves.
Satan had dulled them to become an assembly of works. They faithfully fulfilled their calling of works; but not works of the Holy Spirit, works of self-achievement. They were delivering results those without discernment believed were of YAH.
They were working for the “church” and not for YAH.
Does this sound familiar? It should. Our “churches” are full of those unregenerate souls working unknowingly out of obligation rather than the indwelling Spirit. This is a direct result of satanic infiltration into leadership and exactly what Paul warned the Ephesian Elders of:
Acts 20:29-31 LEB I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. (30) And from among you yourselves men will arise, speaking perversions of the truth in order to draw away the disciples after them. (31) Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning each one of you with tears.
Signs You Have Ephesian Tendencies
You sign up to serve in any way you can at your Church services.
You sign up for Church programs.
You do not diligently study the scriptures.
You believe what you are told to think by Pastors.
You believe your Government always acts for the benefit of its citizens.
You believe politicians will save humanity.
You give YAH little thought during your busy week.
